Jelly materials for insertables

  • These may contain Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) & phthalates which have been linked to numerous health risks

Spermicides (Nonoxynol-9)

  • Surfactant for external use
  • Vaginal lesions, increase chance of STIs
  • Shortens shelf life of latex barriers

Lambskin Condoms

  • Block sperm, but not STIs

Oil based lube

  • Degrades latex barriers (condoms & dental dams)
  • Can interfere with vaginal self cleaning

Numbing agents

  • Pain is the body’s way of alerting to a problem
  • Can cause stress and damage to sensitive tissues
  • If it feels good, the person can’t feel it!

COCK RINGS

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND

Solid rings can be stretchy & flexible to slide down to the base of the penis after achieving an erection. It will help maintain the erection, but it will not keep it rock hard. It will keep the penis at least semi-erect which could be rigid enough for intercourse.

Snap rings can encircle the base of the penis as well as the top of the scrotum. It provides a “squeeze” to the entire genital area to prolong an erection as well as delay ejaculation. The snap also allows for quick release if it becomes uncomfortable.

REMEMBER!  Don’t have it too tight & leaving cock rings on longer than 30 minutes can cause tissue damage & is not recommended since they do restrict blood-flow.

If there is ANY discomfort remove immediately!

  • Do not bend toys that have fix-track beads, & if it has loose beads, only bend above or below the bead area.
  • Only try bending the toy if it is TURNED OFF.
